Tradition

The Cheese Warehouse purchases cheese directly from local, family-run businesses, as well as the larger producers, so we can offer our customers the best possible range of cheddar and British regional cheese.

Regional Cheese
There are many regions around Britain that are famous for a specific kind of cheese native to that area. As the revival in British cheese-making gathers pace, cheese-makers are creating their own regional cheeses - giving consumers an increasing wealth of choice.
We stock regional cheeses from numerous local and national UK cheese producers.

Cheese with Provenance
'Provenance' is certainly one of the biggest buzzwords in the food industry and new research has shown that consumers are increasingly interested in knowing the origin of their food and have a desire to purchase regionally made products.
The Cheese Warehouse can help with a range of cheeses which have a background story behind them in terms of where it’s from, who’s made it, it’s ingredients, it’s history and how it’s made.

Organic Cheese
Our Organic regional cheese range is hand made on the farm in Shropshire and produced under strict conditions using pure organic milk.

PDO Cheese
We also have a range of cheeses that are protected by the European PDO (protected designation of origin) system, to ensure that they are made to specific recipes in restricted geographic areas.

Award Winning and Medal Winning Cheese
Ask about our award winning cheeses from the Nantwich International Cheese Show, World Cheese Awards and British Cheese Awards.

West Country Farmhouse Cheddar
West Country Farmhouse Cheddar is one of the few protected (PDO) cheeses from England and is only made using milk from local herds reared and milked in the counties of Somerset, Dorset, Devon or Cornwall. This gives the cheese its distinctive texture and flavour.
